Whittlers Lodge is located on the wooded mountainside overlooking the tranquil Hout Bay valley. This peaceful neighbourhood is filled with the calls of numerous wild birds. It is located 5 minutes by car from Hout Bay beach and Village where there is an abundance of delightful restaurants and shops.
The trip to Cape Town, the Victoria and Alfred waterfront, and the famous Table Mountain is approximately 20 minutes. Hout Bay lies at the foot of the beautiful Chapman’s Peak Drive a mere 35 minutes to the world renowned Cape Point Nature Reserve, and within easy access of the Winelands of the Cape, and at least 10 of the most picturesque golf courses in Africa.
Whittlers Lodge Guesthouse consists of five spacious fully-equipped self-catering suites all with TV, satellite programs & their own small, fully equipped kitchenettes. Besides having the facility in one’s own suite there is our very well appointed Solarium area where guests can breakfast, eat their Braai’s or enjoy a sundowner with other guests, friends or family. There are a number of barbecue spots in the beautiful garden that boasts a large sparkling pool and secure on-site parking.
We now also offer our Spacious Villas- the 3 bedroomed Geelhout Villa sleeps 6 persons & the 2 bedroomed Melkhout Villa sleeps 4 persons – both have additional 2 person sleeper couches that sleep 2 extra persons @ R250 extra per night supplement.
